At the completion of this course students may apply to Worksafe Victoria for a National Licence to Operate High Risk Machinery. Application forms will be completed by the Worksafe Assessor conducting your assessment.

Course Outline:  

• Plan And Prepare Work
• Conduct Pre-Operational Checks
• Operate Forklift
• Attach, Secure, Lift, Carry And Place Materials
• Carry Out Operator Maintenance
• Select, Remove And Fit Attachments
• Clean Up 

Practical Demonstrations Include:  

• Simulated Workplace Activities
• Operate Forklift

• Parts Of Forklift Truck
• OH&S Rules & Regulations
• Personal Safety
• Rules For Safe Operation

Assessment Methods: 

• The application of competency is to be assessed in the workplace
• Assessment method will be via written and practical demonstration 

Cost: $450.00 per person + $60.00 WorkSafe Licence 

Government Funded fee $350 (for eligible clients)
